NEW PARTNERSHIP
ICAN and Health and Joy work
together in a complementary
partnership to provide comprehensive
support for people with disabilities.
While Health and Joy focuses on
delivering essential medical services,
ICAN serves as an intermediary
organization that fills crucial nonmedical needs to enhance quality of
life.
This partnership ensures that people receive both
medical care through Health and Joy and life-enriching
support through ICAN. For example, while Health and Joy
might provide medical equipment and therapy, ICAN
supplements these services by helping clients access
social activities, transportation to appointments, or
grooming services that aren't covered by traditional
medical funding.
